MEPCO Shah Rukhn-e-Alam Division Multan Tender SRA-02/26 – Transportation & Erection of HT/LT Spun Poles (Closing 2026-06-25)

Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO), Executive Engineer (OP), Shah Rukhn-e-Alam Division Multan, invites sealed tenders from PEC-approved contractors (Classes A, B, C, D) renewed for 2026-27 with relevant field specialization (EE-04, EE-05, CE-10) for transportation, safe handling, shifting and erection of MEPCO-approved HT/LT spun poles at site. Contractors must present original documents and attested copies including CNIC of contractor/managing partner/director.

Key conditions:

- Tender documents obtainable from the Office of Executive Engineer MEPCO (OP) Division S.R. Alam on payment of PKR 2,000 during 08:00 AM–04:00 PM. No tender sale on opening date. Conditional tenders not accepted.

- Earnest money: 3% of the bid amount in shape of CDR or deposit from scheduled banks in Pakistan (or counter-guarantee by scheduled Pakistani banks for foreign bank guarantees). If quoted rate is lower than 20% of analyzed/previous approved rates, the contractor must submit 5% performance security (in addition to the 3% earnest money) by CDR within 15 days; failure may lead to cancellation and forfeiture.

- 5% security will be retained until successful completion of works; failure to complete will result in forfeiture.

- Contract period: One year (or as per MEPCO requirement until completion of bid amount).

- Eligibility: Only firms pre-qualified/enlisted with WAPDA/PEPCO/DISCOS/NTDC/MEPCO (approved contractors) may bid. Bidders must have completed at least 3 similar contracts (with certification) totaling at least 80% of the contract value.

- Financial requirement: Bidder must demonstrate cash or bank equivalents equal to minimum 40% of the contract value and provide bank statements of the last year. Income tax returns for the last 2 years and PRA registration required.

- Electronic bids not permitted. All procurement will follow PPRA rules. MEPCO reserves the right to accept/reject/cancel any or all tenders.
