MEPCO Vacancy: Chief Supply Chain Management Officer (Headquarters, Multan)

Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO) invites applications for the senior post of Chief Supply Chain Management Officer at MEPCO Headquarters, Multan. This is a contracted leadership role to develop and lead MEPCO's supply chain strategy, procurement, stores, logistics and vendor management, reporting to the CEO/Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities

Lead development and execution of MEPCO's supply chain strategy in alignment with organizational vision and Board/CEO direction; manage procurement, contract management, stores, logistics, material management and distribution; ensure compliance with PPRA Rules and MEPCO procurement practices; implement cost-effective and timely procurement and inventory controls; develop and enforce policies, systems and processes for efficient supply chain operations; coordinate with departments to maximize efficiencies and support procurement/contractual functions; handle vendor development, performance management and dispute resolution; ensure availability and distribution of equipment, spares and materials for network operations.

Qualification & Experience

- Minimum 16 years of education (Master's preferred) in Supply Chain or related discipline from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university.
- Professional certifications/courses in supply chain management from reputable national/international institutions are a strong plus.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in supply chain in large-scale organizations with exposure to senior leadership roles (department head / director level) or equivalent strategic leadership positions in public, national, multinational or corporate entities. Assessment emphasises strategic significance and level of responsibility rather than job title alone.
