Auction Notice: Mining Leases (Minor Minerals) — District Kohat (10 Blocks)

Issuer: District Auction Committee, District Kohat (Assistant Director, Mineral Development Kohat). Purpose: Public auction for grant of Minor Mineral Mining Leases of the whole District Kohat as individual blocks under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Minerals Act, 2017. Leases offered on an "as is where is" basis for a period of one (01) year.

Auction date & time: 2026-06-30 at 11:00 AM in the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kohat. If auction cannot be held on that date the next auction date is 2026-07-01 at 11:00 AM.

Eligibility & application essentials: Only registered contractors with the Directorate General Mines & Minerals, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa may participate. Registered parties/individuals must submit an application form (fee Rs. 10,000; non-refundable) and provide required attested documents (CNIC, NTN/income tax registration certificate, partnership deed/memorandum of association and evidence of paid-up capital where applicable). Blacklisted/defaulting persons not registered with DG Mines & Minerals are not allowed to participate.

Financial & procedural notes: Call deposits shown above must be deposited as directed (Bank of Khyber account details provided in the original notice). Successful bidder must pay one-fourth (1/4) of the total bid amount as security within three days of the auction or the call deposit will be forfeited. The successful bidder will be bound by provisions of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Mineral Act and must complete required formalities including payment of taxes/dues as applicable.
