PMDC Notice: Renewal / Verification of Inactive Medical & Dental Registrations

Issuer: Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC).

Purpose: All medical and dental practitioners whose PMDC registration or licence is marked Inactive are directed to complete verification and renewal of their PMDC registration/licence with applicable fees as per the PMDC Act, 2022 and related regulations.

Key actions and requirements:

- Inactive practitioners must renew their registration/licence and pay the required fees to restore active status.

- Practitioners who have remained inactive for more than ten (10) consecutive years will not be eligible for renewal; their names may be permanently removed from the PMDC register.

- Complete renewal/verification processes must be carried out within the period and procedures prescribed by PMDC; follow PMDC rules under the PMDC Act, 2022.

Validity and reference: The notice is issued by PMDC and is valid for six (06) months from the date of publication.
