NADRA Hiring: Deputy Assistant Director (Technical) – Quetta Region (Balochistan)

National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA), Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control, Government of Pakistan is hiring a Deputy Assistant Director (Technical) on a contract basis for the Quetta Region. Selected candidate will join under NADRA Employees (Service) Regulations and will undergo a 6-month probation (extendable).

Key skills & responsibilities: administer and maintain server/client machines; troubleshoot web-based applications, software and hardware; provide technical support including authentication and access issues; perform patch management and system updates; monitor and maintain incident logs and coordinate with support teams; deliver 24/7 technical support and ensure timely resolution of IT incidents; follow incident reporting and escalation procedures; ensure compliance with endpoint security standards, policies and regulatory requirements; manage and enforce antivirus definitions across client and server systems; LAN connectivity troubleshooting, cabling, switch/port configuration; install, configure and maintain applications, OS and network components; performance tuning, monitoring, log analysis; configure and support routing, switching, firewalls, VLANs and VPNs; administer network and directory services (DHCP, DNS, Active Directory); perform pre-deployment readiness checks, security and backup reviews; support compliance audits and participate in technical evaluation of tenders as required.
