PMDC Alert: Medical & Dental Registration / Licence Verification and Renewal — 6-Month Notice

Issuer: Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC), Islamabad.

Purpose: Immediate verification and renewal of inactive medical and dental registrations/licences. PMDC has marked certain registrations/licences as inactive. A six (06) month period is allowed from the date of this notice for affected practitioners to complete verification and renewal procedures.

Who should act: All medical and dental doctors whose PMDC registration or licence status is marked as inactive; practitioners who have not renewed their registration for up to ten (10) consecutive years should note that their names may be permanently removed from the PMDC register if renewal is not completed.

Required action: Affected doctors must follow PMDC’s renewal process and complete all required documentation and formalities to reactivate their registration/licence within the six-month window. Failure to renew may lead to permanent removal for long-term non-renewal (ten years).
