Public Hearing: ESIA for Terminal 1 Quay Wall Extension at Port Muhammad Bin Qasim, Karachi

Sindh Environmental Protection Agency has received the Environmental & Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) from M/s Qasim International Container Terminal Pakistan Limited (DP World Karachi) for the proposed "Terminal 1 Quay Wall Extension, Dredging & Equipment works" at Port Muhammad Bin Qasim, Karachi. The ESIA report is available for review at the Office of the Director General, Sindh Environmental Protection Agency, Plot No. ST-2/1, Sector-23, Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi, and on the SEPA website.

A public hearing will be held at 10:30 am on 28 July 2026 at Qasim International Container Terminal, South Western Industrial Zone, Port Qasim Authority, Malir Bin Qasim Town, Karachi. Members of the public, stakeholders and civil society may attend or send written comments to the Director General, EPA Sindh at the above address or by email to [email protected] within 10 days of this notice.
