EOI: Consultancy for Feasibility, Detailed Design & Procurement Documents for Green Public Transport in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cities

Issuer: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Urban Mobility Authority (KPUMA) under Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cities Improvement Projects (KPCIP) – Second Project Readiness Financing (Loan 6042-PAK).

Purpose: Request for Expressions of Interest (EOI) from reputable consulting firms to provide consultancy services for feasibility study, detailed engineering design and preparation of procurement documents for green public transport in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa cities.

Key scope of services (summary): data collection and assessment; development of public transport network; bus technology assessment and recommendations; electric vehicle and three-wheeler scoping; ITS systems and equipment; electronic fare collection and ticketing; preliminary and detailed design; environmental and social safeguards; traffic impact and road design; business model and institutional/operational plans; preparation of procurement/tender documents; due diligence and financial and economic assessment; preparation of 3D models, images and maps; and ancillary tasks to deliver a complete package for green public transport implementation.

How to apply and documents: Terms of Reference (TOR) and full details are available from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and KPUMA websites. EOIs must be submitted online through ADB’s Consultant Management System (CMS) using the required CMS template. Shortlisted firms will be invited to submit technical and financial proposals in accordance with ADB procedures.
