PIMS Open Auction: Used 64-Slice CT Angiography & Philips Angiography Machine (Islamabad)

Government of Pakistan — Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), Islamabad invites open auction via the PPRA e-PAc Acquisition & Disposal System (E-PADS 2.0) for sale on an "AS IS, WHERE IS" basis of retired/dismantled medical equipment. Interested eligible individuals and firms may participate online through EPADS.

Key dates & submission:

- Vetting at Purchase Department, PIMS: until 12:00 noon on 2026-08-21.

- Bid submission deadline (online via E-PADS 2.0): 2026-08-22 at 11:00 AM.

- Bid opening (online): 2026-08-22 at 11:30 AM.

How to apply / participate:

- Obtain tender receipt (Rs.2,000 per lot) from Accounts Department, PIMS by submitting a written request on company letterhead, signed and stamped.

- Participate and submit bids only through E-PADS 2.0 (www.epads.gov.pk). Manual bid submissions will not be accepted.

- Each bidder must submit a Pay Order as bid security for each lot in favor of Executive Director, PIMS (amount to be as per EPADS 2.0).

- Original bid security and a Stamp Paper (Rs.100) declaring no litigation and that the firm is not blacklisted by any government department/hospital/international agency/NGO must be submitted physically to the Purchase Department, PIMS (Sector G-8/3, Islamabad) by the bid opening date and time (by 11:00 AM on 2026-08-22).

Other important terms:

- Equipment will not be sold below the stated reserve prices (exclusive of applicable taxes).

- The successful bidder must deposit the awarded amount plus applicable taxes within seven (7) working days of the award letter; failure may result in cancellation and award to the next highest bidder.

- If payment is not made within 20 days after issuance of the award letter, bid security will be forfeited.

- PIMS reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in accordance with Rule 33 of the PPRA Rules, 2004.
