National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) invites applications for the position of Funds Officer in the Financial Control area based at Karachi. Suitable candidates with relevant banking experience and required qualifications are encouraged to apply online.

Position Funds Officer (UO-II / Funds Officer)
Unit / Area Financial Control / Unit Head – PB & FB Unit (based at Karachi)
Minimum Qualification Graduation (or equivalent) from a university/college/institute recognized by HEC, Pakistan
Experience Minimum 03 years of relevant experience in the banking sector
Key Skills & Expertise Good understanding of business and financial acumen; strong numerical accuracy; sound knowledge of computerized and manual banking processes; proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word; basic understanding of Power BI
Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain employee recovery schedules and process personnel bank recoveries received from branches
  • Process messages and related postings; prepare and reconcile accounts and interbank reconciliations
  • Prepare reconciliations for Pension Fund and bank accounts and manage related disbursement cases
  • Respond to branch queries, ensure accurate posting of payments and related records
  • Assist in internal reporting and maintain required records as per bank policy
