Secretary (Evacuee Trust Property Board) — Contract Appointment | Ministry of Religious Affairs, Islamabad

Ministry of Religious Affairs & Interfaith Harmony invites applications to appoint the Secretary of the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) on a contract basis. The Secretary will manage and administer evacuee trust properties attached to charitable, religious or educational trusts or institutions.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

- Second-class Master's degree or equivalent recognized by the Higher Education Commission in a discipline related to business administration, public administration or social sciences, preferably with five years' experience in the relevant field; or

- Bachelor degree in Law from an accredited foreign or local university recognized by HEC, preferably with five years' experience in business administration, public administration, asset management or law; and

- Out of the five years' relevant experience as prescribed above, a candidate must have at least three years' experience related to administration and functioning of a corporate or public body.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be citizens of Pakistan and must not: be declared defaulters by a court of law in respect of loan repayment; be declared undischarged insolvent by a court; have been convicted by a court for an offence involving moral turpitude. Age on closing date must be not less than 40 years and not more than 60 years.

Terms & Conditions

The Secretary will be entitled to pay, allowances and privileges admissible to government servants appointed in BPS-19 on contract. A special ETPB allowance (up to one and a half times basic pay) may be admissible as per ETPB Board criteria. Appointment will be made on the recommendation of the Performance Evaluation and Selection Committee. No TA/DA will be admissible.

Only shortlisted candidates fulfilling laid down criteria will be called for interview by the Performance Evaluation and Selection Committee.
