Privatisation Commission Corrigendum: RSOQ for Batch-I DISCOs (FESCO, GEPCO, IESCO) – Amendment to Financial Statements Requirement

Issuer: Government of Pakistan – Privatisation Commission. This corrigendum/amendment relates to the Request for Statement of Qualification (RSOQ) / Expression of Interest (EOI) published on 19 May 2026 for the privatisation of Batch-I Distribution Companies (DISCOs): FESCO, GEPCO and IESCO.

Key amendment: The definition and minimum requirement for "Financial Statements" in the RSOQ has been revised. The minimum requirement now specifies submission of the last three (3) years audited financial statements of the entity, with the latest audited financial year not older than the financial year ended 30 June 2025. If audited financial statements for a financial year ending after 30 June 2025 are not yet available, the entity may submit management accounts for that year together with a letter from the auditor confirming when the audit of the management accounts will be completed; provided that the audited financial statements will be submitted not later than 31 October 2026.

• Ensure that submitted audited financial statements meet the amended definition and timing requirements.
• If submitting unaudited management accounts for a year after 30 June 2025, include the auditor's letter confirming when the audited statements will be available and plan to provide the audited statements by 2026-10-31.
