UHS Lahore — Admissions Open for Certificate in Family Medicine (CFM), Six-Month Competency-Based Programme (2026)

University of Health Sciences (UHS), Lahore invites online applications from eligible medical graduates for the Certificate in Family Medicine (CFM) — a six-month competency-based programme run in collaboration with the Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC). The programme focuses on primary healthcare through evidence-based clinical practice, supervised hands-on training, emergency skills certification, patient safety, quality improvement and community-oriented care.

Eligibility & requirements

• MBBS degree recognized by PM&DC
• One-year house job completed
• Valid PM&DC registration
• Minimum 50% marks in the UHS admission test
• Preference will be given to applicants with relevant clinical experience and/or postgraduate qualifications
• Mandatory UHS Emergency Skills Certification as part of programme requirements

Application & fee

Apply online through the UHS website: www.uhs.edu.pk. A non-refundable application processing fee of Rs. 2,000 must be deposited at time of submission. Course fee of Rs. 75,000 is payable at commencement of the programme. Applicants must upload scanned copies of required documents and proof of fee payment. In-service applicants must submit a valid NOC. Applicants with foreign qualifications must provide an equivalence certificate from the competent authority.
