Pakistan Navy (MES) Pre-Qualification Notice for Provision Works, Furniture & Bazar Supplies (Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Turbat)

Issuer: HQ DW&CE (Navy), Pakistan Navy, Sector E-8, Naval Complex, Islamabad. Reference: REF NO 6900/CK CP & ISL/Lhr/E-6. Applications with complete credentials are invited for pre-qualification of firms/contractors and issuance of tender documents for the below works in accordance with PPRA rules.

Eligibility & key requirements:

- Firms registered with Military Engineer Services (MES) in category 'A' or 'B', or government departments with relevant experience, are eligible to apply.

- Required documents include: company profile, list/description of similar completed works, list of enrolled manpower (including engineers with valid PEC numbers), details of tools/plant & machinery (owned or hired), bank statements for the last two years, and tax/registration certificates (NTN, FBR, PEC, MES registration).

- Firms not registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) will not be considered for issuance of tender documents.

- Pre-qualified firms will be required to deposit bid security equal to 2% of the quoted bid in favour of DW&CE (Navy), Islamabad, with the tender documents (PPRA procurement rules referenced). The bid security is refundable to unsuccessful bidders.

Submission & opening:

- Tender documents and pre-qualification applications are to be submitted to HQ DW&CE (Navy), Sector E-8, Naval Complex, Islamabad. Documents received will be evaluated by a committee; only pre-qualified firms will be issued tender/bidding documents.

- Tenders are to be received at the above office by the stated submission time and will be opened on the same day at the stated opening time (see issuer for exact closing date and times).

Other notes:

- The Accepting Officer reserves the right to reject any or all applications in accordance with PPRA rules. Incomplete applications will not be entertained.
