HEC/ETC Law Admission Test (LAT) 2026 — Register by 2026-08-10 for LLB Admissions

Issuer: Education Testing Council (ETC), Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan. Purpose: LAT for admission to undergraduate LLB degree programmes at HEC/PEC-recognised public and private universities/institutions and affiliated colleges. Test date: Sunday, September 06, 2026. Registration deadline: Monday, August 10, 2026 (24:00 hours). Only completed online applications submitted through the ETC portal will be processed.

Eligibility:

• Those who have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent (12 years education).
• Candidates who have appeared in final HSSC or equivalent examinations and are awaiting results.

How to apply:

• Register online via the ETC registration portal: http://etc.hec.gov.pk (help/alternate portal referenced: https://lionline.hec.gov.pk).
• Complete the online application, upload required identity documents and photo, and follow the portal instructions for payment and submission.
• Download Roll Number Slips from the ETC portal when issued; candidates will be notified via the portal/SMS/email as indicated on the portal.
