OGRA Public Hearing: Core Gas (Pvt) Ltd — Application for Licence to Sell Natural Gas (Hearing: 2026-07-27)

Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has scheduled a public hearing on the application of Core Gas (Private) Limited for grant of a licence for the sale of natural gas under Rule 4 of the Natural Gas Regulatory Authority (Licensing) Rules, 2002. The applicant submitted its application dated 2025-06-20 seeking permission to purchase indigenous gas under applicable policies and to transport gas through the pipeline network of SNGPL to end consumers.

An earlier public hearing was held on 2026-03-09, but due to deficiencies in the application and subsequent change in the OGRA Chairman, a fresh public hearing has been arranged. Interested persons, stakeholders and those likely to be affected are invited to participate.

Key requirements and instructions:

• Intervention requests must be filed along with a fee of Rs. 500. The OGRA online payment system on OGRA's website can be used to submit the fee.
• Interveners must submit an affidavit verifying the contents of their communication before the date of the Public Hearing.
• Copies of documents submitted by the applicant can be obtained from the Office of the Senior Registrar on payment of prescribed charges (Rs. 2 per page) or downloaded from OGRA's official website.
