SNGPL Public Notice — Caution to Buyers of Properties of Gas Dues Defaulters

Issuer: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL).

Purpose: Public caution that certain industrial, commercial and CNG station owners who are defaulters on gas dues are attempting to demolish, repurpose or sell their premises/sites without paying outstanding amounts to SNGPL. SNGPL has initiated legal proceedings for recovery under the Gas (Theft Control and Recovery) Act, 2016; remedies include attachment and auction of defaulters' property through the Court.

Action advised: Prospective buyers and partners are warned to obtain a clearance of dues from SNGPL's Recovery Department before buying or entering into partnerships involving such premises. SNGPL will not be responsible for any loss resulting from purchases or partnerships made without such clearance.
