Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Local Government Elections & Rural Development Department (LGE&RDD) invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) to hire individual consultants for the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cities Improvement Project (KPCIP). Consultants will be engaged for the Project Management Unit (PMU) and City Implementation Unit (CIU).

| Smart City Specialist | Peshawar | 01 | Preferably Master’s degree in Information Technology, Urban/City Planning, Economics, Governance, Business Administration, Systems Engineering, Sustainable Development or equivalent. | Preferably 12 years general experience with preferably 5 years recent experience (preferably public sector) in: guiding cities on Smart City transformation; conceptualizing and designing economic development projects with Smart City concepts; implementing smart mobility and technological tools; and developing digitalization/e-governance strategies. Familiarity with donor procedures (ADB/WB) preferred. | Preferably 35 to 70 years |
| Environmental Safeguard Specialist | Abbottabad, Peshawar, Kohat | 03 | Preferably Master’s degree in Environmental Sciences, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or equivalent. | Preferably 12 years’ experience in preparation, implementation and monitoring of environmental management and monitoring plans. Must be conversant with ADB Safeguard Policy Statement (2009) and environmental assessment/monitoring. Experience on ADB/WB funded projects or with international organizations/government institutions preferred. | Preferably 35 to 70 years |
