Chief Executive Officer (CEO) — Export Development Fund (EDF), Ministry of Commerce (Apply by 2026-08-05)

Export Development Fund (EDF), Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan invites applications for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CEO will lead EDF's transformation and growth, reporting to the Chairman of the EDF Board. The appointment is for a three-year, performance-based contract in line with relevant governance guidelines.

Eligibility & Experience

- Education: Degree equivalent to sixteen (16) years or higher from an HEC-recognized national or international institution in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, Public Policy, Law, Social Sciences, or related fields.

- Experience: Minimum ten (10) years of progressively senior experience in reputable national/international public, private, multilateral or development organizations, including at least five (05) years in a senior leadership role.

- Demonstrated leadership in one or more of: institutional transformation; large-scale programme or operations management; export promotion, trade facilitation or export-oriented industry; entrepreneurship and enterprise development; or commercial P&L leadership.

- Age: Between 40 and 58 years on the closing date.

- Other: Persons dismissed on disciplinary grounds or convicted of an offence involving moral turpitude are not eligible. Applicant must be a Pakistani national.

Terms & Additional Information

- Appointment governed by State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023 and CMU C-Level Appointments Guidelines, 2024. CEO will report to the Chairman of the EDF Board. Position based in Islamabad.
