Request for Proposal (E-Bids) for Group Insurance Coverage — University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore

Issuer: Treasurer Office, University of Engineering & Technology (UET), Lahore. The University invites sealed online technical and financial proposals (single stage, two envelope basis) from well reputed insurance companies duly licensed by the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) and having at least Takaful/Insurance or IA Insurer Financial Strength (IFS) rating by any SECP-recognized/regulatory credit rating agency for Group Insurance in respect of UET employees. Coverage required includes 5 years post-retirement (previously coverage to age 65) as per Government of Punjab schedule.

• All bidding/tender documents must be submitted online through the Punjab E-Procurement System website (i.e. http://eppunjab.gov.pk).
• Proposal submission/closing date and time: 2026-08-05. Proposals will be opened the same day on 05-08-2026 (Wednesday) at 10:30 AM. Manual bids will not be accepted.
• Each proposal must be accompanied by bid security equal to Rs. 50,500/- (stated as 2% of the estimated premium) submitted electronically (online) in accordance with Punjab E-Procurement System requirements; otherwise the offer will be rejected as non-responsive.
• Tender/Notice/Tender documents containing detailed requirements, terms & conditions are available to registered bidders on the PPRA Punjab Website (www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk) and the Punjab E-Procurement System Website (http://eppunjab.gov.pk) free of cost.
• The University reserves the right to reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to acceptance as provided under Rule-35 of Punjab Procurement Rules-2014.
