Eligibility (summary):
Graduate (M.Des/M.Sc/M.Phil): Minimum 16 years or 4 years of education in a relevant field (minimum 120 credit hours) after HSSC/FA/FSc/Grade 12 or equivalent; specified tests required. Applicants with a valid GRE/HAT or equivalent general test with a passing score of 50% are acceptable.
PhD: 18 years of education in design or a relevant field with minimum 3.0 CGPA (out of 4.0) or 60% marks / 1st division in annual system. Candidates with 16 years of education may be considered with a minimum CGPA of 2.5 (out of 4.0) or 1st division in the annual system. For detailed PhD eligibility criteria visit the PIFD website.
