Eligibility (as published):
Graduate (M.Des / M.Sc / M.Phil): Generally 16 years or 4 years of education in a relevant field (minimum 120 credit hours) or equivalent (HSSC/F.A./F.Sc./Grade 12) as required for admission into M.Phil/M.Des/M.Sc/equivalent programmes. Applicants with a valid GRE/HAT General/Equivalent test with a passing score of 50% are acceptable.
PhD: 18 years of education in a design or relevant field with a minimum 3.0 CGPA (out of 4.0) or 60% / 1st division; applicants with 16 years of education require a minimum CGPA of 2.5 (out of 4.0) or 1st division in the annual system. Refer to PIFD website for detailed PhD eligibility criteria.
