WASA Rawalpindi Tender: Security Services (Supervisor & Armed Guards)

Punjab Water & Sanitation Authority (WASA), Water and Sanitation Agency, Rawalpindi invites sealed bids from reputable licensed/security companies/firms having relevant experience to provide security services for WASA installations in Rawalpindi and Islamabad for the period 2016-08-01 to 2017-07-31 (extendable subject to satisfactory performance).

Eligibility & bidding requirements:

• Bids to follow single-stage two-envelope procedure (Technical Proposal & Financial Proposal separately).
• Financial bids of only technically qualified bidders will be opened.
• Bid security: Rs. 100,000/- (in shape of deposit at call / bank draft) in favor of Managing Director, WASA Rawalpindi must be submitted in the office of Director (Administration) before closing time.
• Bidders must be registered on the Punjab E-Procurement System as per Government of Punjab directives and also registered with the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and the Punjab Revenue Authority (PRA), where applicable.
• Affidavit that the bidder is not blacklisted by any government/autonomous body must be provided.
• Contractors must comply with prevailing labor laws, minimum wages, social security and EOBI; the procuring agency reserves the right to seek proof of same.
• Successful firm will be responsible for payment of all applicable taxes as per Government of Punjab rules.
• PPRA rules and Punjab e-procurement rules apply; tender documents and any updates are available on the PPRA / Punjab e-procurement websites.
