Eligibility & Qualifications
- Age: 12 to 14 years as on 2027-04-01. A waiver of up to 90 days may be granted by competent authority in upper and lower age limit.
- Marital status: Unmarried.
- Academic: Class 7 passed or appearing in class 7 final exam may apply. Selected candidates must submit Class 7 result at time of joining.
- Nationality: Pakistani.
- Only male candidates can apply; female candidates are not eligible.
Ineligibility Criteria
- Withdrawn from any Military College / Cadet College on disciplinary grounds or for moral character reasons.
- Overage / underage beyond permitted limits.
- Declared medically unfit by Medical Board.
- Submission of tampered certificates / documents or concealment of information in application.
Selection Procedure & Examination
- Selection based on overall performance in Written Test (MCQ OMR), Intelligence Test, Interview, physical fitness and medical examination.
- Written test subjects: English, Urdu, Mathematics, General Science and Islamiat (Pak Studies for Non-Muslims). Test paper format: MCQ objective on OMR sheet and a subjective comprehension/English paper as applicable. Syllabus refers to class 5th, 6th and 7th Federal & Punjab Text Books.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for further tests/interview; final selection subject to medical fitness.
Important Notes
- Incomplete applications or those received after due date will not be entertained; Online Admission System will be disabled automatically after the due date.
- No refund for registration fee in any case.
- Candidates must not use Mobile Phone, Calculator or Smart Watch in the written examination.
- Candidates are advised not to rely on or attend private coaching specifically claiming to prepare for admission to Military College Jhelum; the college has no collaboration with private cadet colleges.
