Federal Directorate of Education — BS Admissions Fall 2026 (4-Year & BS Lateral Entry) Islamabad

Issuer: Federal Directorate of Education (FDE), Islamabad. Purpose: Admission open for BS 04-Year Program (8 semesters) and BS Lateral Entry (5th semester, 2-year program) for Fall 2026 in FDE-affiliated colleges (affiliated with Quaid-i-Azam University).

Eligibility:

- BS (04-Year): Candidates must have passed HSSC (Part-I and Part-II) or equivalent from a recognized intermediate board in Pakistan with a minimum of 50% marks.

- BS Lateral Entry (5th semester): Candidates must have passed Intermediate or its equivalent and hold a Bachelor (minimum 14 years of education) or equivalent, each with a minimum of 50% marks (as stated in the notice).

Programs offered (selected): BS Commerce, BS Psychology, BS Chemistry, BS Urdu, BS English, BS Accounting & Finance, BS Business Administration, BS Economics, BS Mass Communication, BS Computer Science, BS Mathematics, BS Zoology, BS Home Economics & Fashion, BS Islamic Studies and related specializations. Admissions are offered across multiple FDE colleges in Islamabad.

Application method: Online submission via the FDE undergraduate admissions portal: http://www.fde.gov.pk/undergraduate-admissions. Applicants may also obtain or submit admission forms through the concerned college where applicable. Follow the FDE admission policy and eligibility criteria posted on the FDE website.
