Eligibility for Scholarship
- Minimum CGPA of 3.5/4.0 or equivalent in MS/MPhil degree.
- Applicants must submit a well-written research proposal aligned with department research areas.
- Prior research experience or publication record is preferred but not mandatory.
- Fresh candidates demonstrating exceptional potential and passion for teaching, learning and development will be considered.
- Maximum age 35 years on the closing date (applicable for scholarship consideration).
Scholarship Terms & Conditions (summary)
- Scholarship may cover full tuition fee of the PhD programme.
- Monthly stipend: Rs. 80,000 (exclusions may apply).
- Access to university research facilities, libraries and online databases will be provided.
- Scholarship duration will normally be up to four years, subject to satisfactory progress as reported by department and supervisor.
- Physical presence at AIOU Main Campus is required for scholars during the stipend period.
