Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad invites applications from Pakistani nationals for contract positions under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) project entitled “Establishment of China-Pakistan Joint Research Centre (CPJRC) on Earth Sciences”. Appointments are purely on a contract basis for a project currently executed and administered at QAU. Candidates possessing the requisite qualifications and relevant experience are invited to apply.

How to apply & important instructions:
• Submit a duly filled application with 2 attested photographs, copies of experience certificates, educational testimonials, domicile and CNIC to the Additional Registrar (Admin Branch), Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.
• Application fee: Bank draft / pay order (any bank) or HBL bank challan (QAU branch) — Rs.2,000 for S.No.1–2; Rs.1,000 for S.No.3–6; Rs.500 for S.No.7. Fees are non-refundable and must be drawn in favour of Treasurer, Quaid-i-Azam University.
• Applications must reach the office on or before 15 days from the date of publication of the advertisement (during office hours).
• Application form is available from the Administration Section / Admin Block of the University or can be downloaded from the university website (www.qau.edu.pk).
• Candidates already working in Government / Semi-Government organizations / Autonomous Bodies must apply through proper channel and submit service certificate and NOC issued by the present employer.
• Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for test/interview.
• Initial appointment will be made on contract for one year, extendable subject to satisfactory performance and project continuation. The university reserves the right to accept/reject any application(s) without assigning any reason.
