EOI: Development of Grade 9 & 11 Textbooks — Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbook Board, Peshawar

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbook Board (KPTB), Peshawar invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from national publishing firms, individuals, authors or groups of authors for the development of textbooks for Grade 9 and Grade 11 based on the curriculum notified for 2024-25 by the Directorate of Curriculum & Teacher Education (DCTE), Abbottabad, in accordance with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbooks and Learning Materials Policy (KPTLM), 2017.

Key conditions and instructions:

- Eligible applicants: registered national publishing firms, individuals, authors or groups of authors having valid registration with Income Tax authorities and relevant experience and technical capacity in textbook development and production.

- Interested developers must submit profiles and relevant credentials for evaluation and shortlisting. The prequalification documents (EOI / prequalification form and required information) may be collected from the office of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbook Board, Peshawar during office hours (09:00 to 15:00).

- Complete EOIs must be submitted to the office of the Secretary, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Textbook Board, Peshawar on or before 2026-07-20. EOIs received after the deadline shall not be entertained.

- The Board will evaluate credentials, experience and technical capability and will shortlist suitable developers for participation in subsequent stages of textbook development under the KPTLM Policy 2017. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all EOIs at any stage in accordance with applicable rules and policies.

- Qualified publishers/developers shall bear all expenses related to manuscript development, submission and review. Incomplete applications or applications without prescribed documents will be rejected without further correspondence. Any false statement or concealment of material facts may lead to rejection, disqualification and potential legal action under applicable laws.
