A reputable bank with head office in Muzaffarabad, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) is seeking a dynamic Regional Head for its Muzaffarabad and Mirpur regions. The role requires strong business development and banking management experience, proven leadership, and the ability to manage the region’s entire business and operations portfolio.

Location	Muzaffarabad and Mirpur regions (Head Office: Muzaffarabad, AJK)
Educational / Professional Qualifications	Minimum Graduate or equivalent from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university/institute OR local/international professional qualification/certification.
Experience	Minimum 10 years of business development and management experience, preferably in the banking industry, with at least 3 years in a similar role. Minimum 8 years of exclusive experience preferably in diversified banks/DFIs. Proven networking, monitoring and evaluation skills.
Key Skills & Competencies	Business development and management, customer relationship management, promoting performance culture. Strong organizational, change management and people management skills. In-depth understanding of public sector banks/DFIs, branch operations and banking products. Excellent computer skills (MS Word/Excel), presentation and analytical skills, and communication abilities. Good people management, interpersonal skills and ability to manage time and workload effectively.
Age Limit	Permanent induction: up to 42 years on closing date. Contractual induction: up to 57 years on closing date.
Main Responsibilities	Manage the region’s entire business and operations portfolio; supervise, maintain and analyze business statistics and branch performance. Drive business growth by developing consumer, commercial and retail banking strategies; transform channel networks into practical business strategies. Prepare revenue and expense budgets; recommend staffing, capital and other requirements to the Head Office. Ensure compliance with applicable policies, maintain discipline across the regional network and coordinate with Head Office for MIS and reporting. Lead staff performance appraisal liaison with HR and implement disciplinary measures when required. Develop and implement mechanisms for coordination between region and branches to strengthen marketing, network and service efforts. Hunt potential market, manage client relationships, minimize NPLs, and recover/stabilize stressed accounts in coordination with Special Assets Management.
