NEPRA Notice: Proposed Capacity Increase (LPM) — Monnoo Energy Limited

Issuer: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA).

Subject: Licensee Proposed Modification (LPM) to the Generation Licence of Monnoo Energy Limited (Generation Licence No. SGC/010/2001 dated 2001-12-08).

Proposed modification: Monnoo Energy Limited proposes to increase the capacity of its generation facility to 12.0 MW by adding a 7.4 MW Solar PV generation plant alongside its existing 4.6 MW HFO/HFO-based generation facility.

Reason in support: NEPRA notes the proposed arrangement is intended to optimize the generation facility and support sustainable operation of the plant, including incorporation of renewable generation (PV) alongside existing fuel-based generation.

Stakeholder action: Interested stakeholders, affected persons and the general public are invited to submit comments, objections or representations with supporting reasons and evidence to the Registrar, NEPRA, within 14 days of the publication of this notice.
