Pakistan WAPDA Foundation (PWF) invites applications for the post of Manager, Power Transformers Engineering Services Unit (PTESU) on contract basis (BPS-19). Appointment is initially for one year, extendable subject to satisfactory performance up to a maximum of 3 years or until age 65, whichever is earlier. Preference will be given to retired WAPDA/DISCO/NTDC officers with proven power transformer experience and good service record.

Key responsibilities include supervision of repairs and quality control for power transformers of all capacities; administration and stores control of PTESU; inspection and verification of materials received for repairs; oversight of rewinding/repair activities and testing; improving repair quality; supervision of accounts section; and disposal of dismantled material. Candidates should be results-oriented, highly organized, with strong analytical, communication and liaison skills, and sound decision-making ability.
