NEPRA Notice: Call for Public Comments on ISMO Wheeling Auction Amendments

The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) invites stakeholders and the general public to submit written comments on proposed amendments to the Wheeling Auction Process submitted by the Independent System and Market Operator (ISMO). Key proposed changes include mandatory co-location of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) with solar or wind generation participating in the auction, authority for ISMO to extend submission deadlines by up to one month, and the constitution of a Grievance Redressal Committee to address eligibility grievances.

Comments must be submitted in writing within seven (7) days of the publication date to the Registrar, NEPRA, at NEPRA Tower, Attaturk Avenue (East), G-5/1, Islamabad, or via the NEPRA website.
