Ministry of Climate Change & Environmental Coordination, Government of Pakistan, Islamabad invites applications for the post of Chairperson of the Pakistan Climate Change Authority. This is a senior leadership appointment on SPPS-I for one (01) position based in Islamabad.

| Eligibility / Qualifications | Ph.D, MPhil or Master’s degree in Climate Change, Environmental Sciences, Environmental Engineering, Renewable Energy, Natural Resource Management, Economics, Environmental Laws, Finance, Management Sciences or any other relevant discipline from an HEC-recognized national or international university. Candidates with degrees from world-class universities and strong research publication records will be preferred. Advanced/joint degrees in finance and law considered an advantage. |
| Experience | At least ten (10) years’ professional experience in fields related to climate change and the environment, including at least three (3) years in senior management positions. Experience in policy formulation, strategic planning, development initiatives with a focus on climate change, and familiarity with climate finance, technical finance, carbon finance, investment banking, climate law firms or climate-related start-ups is desirable. Experience with world-class organizations (e.g., UN or international climate finance organizations) is an advantage. |
