Absence and prior communications: Dr. Assad Abbas has been absent from duty w.e.f. 2026-01-22. Notification regarding leave expiry was emailed on 2026-01-28. A prior notice to resume duty was issued by Letter No. CUI-HR (ISB) PF-1992/2004/26/765 dated 2026-05-06 via email.

Directive and deadline: Dr. Assad Abbas is directed to resume duty within fifteen (15) days of the publication of this notice and to submit a written explanation for willful absence from duty.

Consequences: Failure to comply will result in an ex-parte decision under CUI Clause 15 of the Employees Efficiency & Discipline Rules of 2006, which may lead to the imposition of a major penalty, including removal/dismissal from service.
