PBIT Tender: Group Health (IP/OP) and Group Life Insurance for 2026-27

Issuer: Punjab Board of Investment & Trade (PBIT), trade and investment promotion agency of the Province of Punjab.

Purpose: Procurement of (Lot I) Group Health Insurance (In-Patient and Out-Patient) coverage for PBIT employees and their dependents, and (Lot II) Group Life Insurance for PBIT employees for the policy year 2026-27 (1 July 2026 to 30 June 2027).

Eligibility: Insurance companies must have a minimum AA+ rating (PACRA or JCR-VIS), be compliant with legal requirements to offer the covers, and be registered with income tax and sales tax authorities. Insurance companies belonging to the same business group may submit bids under their respective licensed names.

Tender document and procurement rules: Tender document available at www.pbit.gop.pk and www.ppra.punjab.gov.pk. Procurement will follow Punjab Procurement Rules 2014 using Single Stage Two Envelope Procedure. The PPRA e-procurement page is https://eproc.punjab.gov.pk/ViewTender.aspx; response time is calculated from publication on the PPRA website.

Bid security and submission: Bids must include Bid Security at the rate of 2% of the estimated value in accordance with the tender document. A single package containing separate Technical and Financial Bids, duly completed, signed, stamped, sealed and in conformity with the tender document should be dropped at the PBIT office: 23-Aikman Road, GOR-I, Lahore. Submission deadline: no later than 11:00 AM on 2026-06-17. Bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 AM at the PBIT office.

Notes: Incomplete, unsigned, unsealed, late, or otherwise non-compliant bids will not be considered. PBIT reserves the right to cancel the tenders or reject all bids as provided under Rule-35 of Punjab Procurement Rules 2014.
