Issuer: Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO). Project: Electricity Distribution Efficiency Improvement Project (EDEIP) financed by the World Bank (IBRD). MEPCO invites sealed bids (One-Envelope Bidding Process without prequalification) for installation, testing, commissioning and civil works for rehabilitation of a total of 46 nos. 11kV feeders, offered lot-wise under separate contracts.
RFB No.: PK-MEPCO-562889-CW-RFB. Procurement will follow National Competitive Bidding (NCB) in accordance with the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers". Bidding documents are available from MEPCO (and via MEPCO website) and must be obtained as described below. Bidders may submit bids for one or more lots; each lot will be evaluated and awarded separately.

Bid security: Each lot requires a Bid Security of at least PKR 1,000,000 (One million Pakistani Rupees) or as specified in the bidding documents.
Documents & submissions: Bidding documents are available from MEPCO (details below). Bidders must follow instructions in the bidding documents for submission and obtain clarifications, if needed, by the specified cut-off. Late bids and electronic bidding are not permitted.
