Chief Internal Auditor – Independent System & Market Operator (ISMO) (Contract) — Apply by 2026-09-27

• Evaluate accounting, financial, credit and other operational activities as an independent appraisal function.
• Review and appraise the soundness, adequacy and application of accounting, financial and operational controls.
• Formulate internal audit programs for all aspects of financial transactions.
• Develop competent subordinates and coordinate with external and commercial auditors.
• Coordinate with the Audit Committee and undertake special audits/investigations as directed.
• Evaluate compliance function design and effectiveness.

• Member of a recognized body of professional accountants (CA/CPA/ACMA/ACCA/MBA (Finance) from a reputed local or international university/institute).
• Minimum 12 years of post-qualification relevant experience, including at least 5 years in senior management or executive-level roles with demonstrated expertise in auditing and risk management.
• Demonstrated experience in internal control procedures, financial reliability in public/private sector, and understanding of governance, risks and controls (especially SOEs or public sector projects).
• Must meet Fit & Proper criteria defined under Schedule-IV of the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023.
