The National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Bureau of Translation & Interpretation, Islamabad, invites entries for the NUML Translation Awards as part of Jashn-e-Tarjuma 2026 to recognize outstanding contributions in translation and encourage both emerging and established translators.

| Best Published Translation Award | Age: Above 30 years | Certificate of Excellence, Commemorative Shield, PKR 20,000 (for each category) |
Eligible genres: Poetry, Fiction, Non-Fiction, War Literature, and Children's Literature. Works must be translated either to or from Urdu & English. Considered publications: works published from July 2023 to June 2026. Competition in each category requires at least five entries.
Submission requirements (per entry): a professional CV and copy of CNIC; a passport-size photograph; two copies of the published translated work along with a copy of the source text; and a 300-word description of the significance of the work including publication details.
Submission method: Through the postal system only. Deadline: 2026-09-15. Postal submissions should be sent to: Dr. Humaita Shahbaz, Director, Bureau of Translation and Interpretation, National University of Modern Languages, Sector H-9/4, Islamabad.
