NESPAK Invitation for Bids: Geotechnical Investigations for ML-1 (Karachi–Rohri) Package-3

National Engineering Services Pakistan (Pvt.) Limited (NESPAK) invites sealed electronic bids for geotechnical investigations for Detailed Engineering Design for the upgradation of Main Line-1 (ML-1) of Pakistan Railways from Karachi to Rohri (480 km) — Package-3 (Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5).

Eligible drilling contractors/companies registered with Income Tax and Sales Tax Departments, listed on the Active Taxpayers List of the Federal Board of Revenue (and relevant provincial authorities), and holding valid PEC registration in the relevant category may submit bids. Bidding documents (Invitation Letter, BOQs and Qualification Criteria) can be downloaded from NESPAK (www.nespak.com.pk) and PPRA (www.ppra.org.pk) websites or accessed via the E-PADs e-procurement system. Bids (Technical and Financial) must be submitted through E-PADs.

Each section requires a separate bid and separate bid security as shown below. Bidders must furnish complete information and required documents (including bid security) in accordance with the bidding documents. Technical bids will be opened the same day at 11:30 hours in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives. Financial bids will be opened after technical evaluation; date/time/venue for financial bid opening will be intimated later.

Submission deadline: Bids must be submitted via E-PADs on or before 2016-09-16 up to 11:00 hours. Technical bids will be opened at 11:30 hours on the same day.
