Issuer: Sindh Healthcare Commission (SHCC). Purpose: Mandatory registration and licensing of every healthcare establishment (HCE) providing services within the Province of Sindh under Sections 13, 14 and 15 of the Sindh Healthcare Commission Act, 2013.
Who must comply: All healthcare service providers including medical doctors, Tabib, homeopathic practitioners, allied health professionals and all facilities providing healthcare services in Sindh. No person or organization shall lawfully provide healthcare services through a facility that is not duly registered and licensed by SHCC.
Required action: All unregistered HCEs must initiate and complete the SHCC registration process by 30 September 2026. Establishments already registered with SHCC must immediately initiate the prescribed licensing process and ensure compliance with applicable standards, requirements and procedures. Non-compliance may result in actions including penalty imposition and/or closure of the HCE.
