Director Military Lands & Cantonments, Lahore Region has issued a final show-cause notice to Rana Waseem Abbas, Chowkidar (BS-01), MEO's Office Lahore Circle, for prolonged unauthorized absences (13-10-2025 to 05-11-2025; 20-01-2026 to 29-01-2026; 11-02-2026 to 27-02-2026; 24-03-2026; 30-03-2026 to 02-04-2026). An inquiry report dated 17-06-2026 found the employee guilty of willful absence, disobedience, inefficiency and misconduct.
The employee is directed to submit a written defence within 10 days of publication; failure to do so will result in ex parte proceedings and may culminate in removal/dismissal under the Civil Servants (E&D) Rules 2020.
