Transport Officer – Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (Contract)

Issuer: Karachi Water & Sewerage Corporation (KWASC). Position: Transport Officer on a contract basis.

Role summary: Manage and improve corporate vehicle fleet operations, including maintaining an up-to-date inventory of vehicles, enforcing preventive maintenance schedules, supervising in-house and outsourced servicing, allocating and withdrawing vehicles per policy, monitoring and optimizing fuel usage, ensuring regulatory compliance (including insurance), maintaining complete records (logbooks, service histories, accident and inspection reports), overseeing training and safety protocols, disposing of unserviceable vehicles per corporate policy (including auctions), and responding efficiently to emergencies.

Performance will be measured by reductions in vehicle downtime and maintenance costs, adherence to preventive maintenance schedules, accuracy and punctuality in reporting, demonstrable improvements in fleet fuel and cost efficiency, and successful internal and external audits of vehicle management.
