Issuer: Program Implementation Unit (PIU), Electricity Distribution Efficiency Improvement Project (EDIEP), Ministry of Energy (Power Division), Government of Pakistan. Contract type: Individual consultant for procurement and contract management under EDIEP Component IV. Project code: PK-MOE-668136-CB-INDV-PROC-SPEC.
Purpose: To manage and oversee all procurement and contract management functions under EDIEP Component IV, ensuring compliance with World Bank procurement regulations and applicable government rules.

Education: Master’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, Management Sciences, Engineering or related discipline from an HEC-recognized university or foreign institution duly recognized by HEC. Experience: Minimum 10 years of professional experience including procurement management of goods, works, non-consulting and consulting services; experience using international, national or private sector procurement rules/regulations. Prior experience in the power sector will be given additional weight. Desirable: Procurement diplomas or professional training; hands-on experience with procurement regulatory, audit and information systems. Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); proficiency in English and Urdu (written and spoken). |
