Auction Notice: Minor Minerals Leases — District Dir Lower (14 Oct 2026)

District Auction Committee, District Dir Lower (Assistant Director (Tech), Mineral Development Dir Lower) invites applications from contractors registered with the Directorate General Mines & Minerals, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for participation in an auction and grant of minor-mineral leases for multiple blocks in District Dir Lower.

Auction date & time: 2026-10-14 at 11:00 AM. Last date to submit application: 2026-10-09.

Who may apply: Only persons or firms registered with Directorate General Mines & Minerals, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as Minor Minerals contractors.

Application requirements & fees: Non-refundable application form fee Rs. 10,000 (ten thousand). Applicants must submit the completed application form and required documents at least three working days before the auction. Required documents include attested copies of CNIC, income tax registration certificate (NTN) and/or partnership deed/article & memorandum of association, evidence of paid-up capital (if applicable), and proof of registration with the Directorate.

Deposit & payment instructions: Call deposit for each block (amounts specified per block in the notice) must be deposited to Bank of Khyber account number 0066-2008140092. Application fee should be deposited to Bank of Khyber account number 0066-2008209319 (as stated in the notice). Original deposit receipts should accompany the application.

Blocks available: Thirty-six (36) mineral blocks are offered across District Dir Lower along the Panjkora and other local rivers/subdivisions (including Panjkora, Lal Qilla Maidan, Toormang Khwar, Munda/Samarbagh, Andherai Khwar Balambat, Gulaband Khwar and River Swat). Reserve prices and required call deposits for each individual block are listed in the official notice and must be paid as shown.

Important terms (summary): Successful bidder must deposit the balance of total bid money within three days of the auction and fulfill all legal obligations including payment of excise duty and applicable taxes. The successful bidder will be issued a lease/allotment letter and must work leased area strictly in accordance with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Mineral Act 2017 and related rules. Transportation of minerals must be by verified channels; unauthorized transportation will be dealt with under the Act. The District Auction Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any bid.
