Issuer: Institute of Education and Research (IER), University of the Punjab, Lahore. The Institute invites sealed bids through open competitive bidding for public auction of raddi (waste paper) and unusable scrap material on an "As Is Where Is" basis.
Tender/auction documents are available from the Office of the Director, Institute of Education and Research, during office hours on payment of the prescribed tender/auction fee. Sealed bids must be delivered to the Office of the Director by the submission deadline. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.

| Lot I | Raddi (Waste Paper): Old examination answer books, students' assignments, used office papers, old newspapers, old magazines, obsolete books, theses and dissertations declared disposable, and other approved waste paper. Preference given to firms/companies engaged in paper recycling. |
| Lot II | Scrap of Wooden Furniture: Unusable and condemned wooden furniture including tables, chairs, desks, cupboards, benches, racks and other wooden items. |
| Lot III | Scrap of Steel Furniture & Other Steel Items: Unusable and condemned steel furniture and scrap items including steel tables, chairs, cupboards, steel racks, damaged door frames, broken doors, electric water coolers and other miscellaneous steel items. |
Key dates and procedures:
- Submission deadline: 2026-09-11 by 10:00 AM (sealed bids to reach the Office of the Director).
- Bid opening: 2026-09-13 at 10:00 AM in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.
Other details: The Competent Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or cancel the auction at any stage in accordance with applicable rules without assigning any reason. Employees of the University of the Punjab, including IER, are not permitted to participate.
