Project Implementation Unit (PIU), BWSPIP Component B invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals for five specialist positions to support project implementation in Quetta, Balochistan. Interested candidates should submit a CV and cover letter via email (see submission details below). Detailed Terms of Reference (ToRs) are available from the PIU.

| Procurement Specialist (01) | Master's degree (16 years) in Engineering / Business / Economics / Commerce | Minimum 10 years' experience (after acquiring required qualification) in procurement and contract management; at least five years related to procurement of goods, works and consulting services for development projects. Professional procurement certifications (e.g. CIPS or equivalent) and experience with donor-funded projects preferred. Strong procurement/contract management, negotiation and reporting skills; proficiency in English and ICT. |
| Financial Management Specialist (01) | Qualified CA/ACCA or Master's (MBA Finance / Masters Commerce) | Professional finance/accounting qualification with relevant years of experience in financial management, preferably in public/development sector and donor-funded projects. Familiarity with international financial reporting standards and public financial management systems; experience working in Balochistan is an advantage. |
| Environmental Specialist (01) | Master's degree in Environmental Science / Natural Resource Management / Environmental Engineering or comparable discipline | Minimum 7 years' post-qualification professional experience in environmental and social safeguards, environmental impact assessment, mitigation measures, regulatory compliance and environmental management planning for development projects. |
| Social Development Specialist (01) | Master's degree (16 years) in Social Science / Sociology / Social Work / Community Development or related field | Minimum 7 years' experience in social development, stakeholder engagement, community mobilization, gender and social inclusion, social safeguards, grievance redress mechanisms and community consultations on development projects. |
| WASH Specialist (01) | Master's degree (16 years) in Civil / Environmental / Water Resources / Sanitary or Water Supply & Sanitation-related discipline | Professional experience in water supply, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) planning, design and implementation; experience with non- or on-budget projects and community-level WASH interventions preferred. Experience of working in Pakistan and familiarity with local institutions considered an advantage. |
