CDA Public Notice: Immediate Regularization Required for Rooftop Businesses in Islamabad

Issuer: Director General, Building & Housing Control Wing, Capital Development Authority (CDA).

Purpose: All owners, occupiers and managers of rooftop restaurants, cafes and any other commercial/business activities operating on rooftops within the jurisdiction of the Capital Development Authority — including all sectoral areas and housing societies of Islamabad — are directed to immediately regularize their premises/businesses in strict accordance with the approved Rooftop Policy and applicable CDA rules and regulations.

Required action: Within fifteen (15) days from the date of publication of this notice, concerned parties must obtain necessary approvals/permissions from the competent CDA authority and regularize rooftop operations.

Consequences of non-compliance: Any rooftop business found operating without required approvals/regularization after the stipulated period will face immediate sealing of the premises/business activity and imposition of fines and penalties.
