Auction Notice — Minor Minerals Leases, District Swat (Auction 01 Sep 2026)

Issuer: District Auction Committee, District Swat (Assistant Director (Tech), Mineral Development Swat). Auction for one-year minor-mineral leases under Section 78(3) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Minerals Act, 2017. Registered contractors of Minor Minerals with the Directorate General Mines & Minerals, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, are eligible to apply.

Auction date & time: 2026-09-01 at 11:00 AM (venue: Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Swat). If auction cannot be held for any reason, next date: 2026-09-02 at 11:00 AM. Last date to submit application form: 2026-08-28 (see terms).

Application requirements and payment:

• Application form fee: Rs. 10,000 (non-refundable) excluding 2% KPPRA tax.
• Applicants must submit the application form with 25% of the call deposit for each block at least three (03) working days before the auction.
• Call deposit and application fee must be deposited to Bank of Khyber accounts: call deposit A/C No. 0066-2008140092; application fee A/C No. 0066-2008203919.
• Attested copies of CNIC, NTN (income tax registration), partnership deed / memorandum & articles of association (if applicable), and evidence of paid-up capital (for firms/companies) must be submitted.
• Successful bidder to deposit 1/4 of total bid within three days of auction; failure will forfeit call deposit and may result in award to next highest bidder under stated conditions. Lessee must demarcate area within 15 days of allotment and comply with KP Mines & Minerals Act and relevant rules.
• Sketches and area checks are available at the office of the Assistant Director Mineral Development, Swat. Office hours: 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM on working days.

Banking and compliance notes: bidders are bound to deposit applicable taxes (Income Tax, Professional Tax, Excise/Withholding as per law), pay surface rent to landowners, and carry out mining strictly in accordance with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mines & Minerals Act and Mining of Minor Minerals from Riverbed Rules-2022. The competent authority reserves the right to accept or reject any bid.
