Power Planning & Monitoring Company (PPMC) invites applications for two positions to support the Ministry of Energy (Power Division) in planning, policy development and performance monitoring of power sector entities. Appointments are offered on market-based, competitive packages with an initial 3-month probation period.

- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in a reputable national or multinational organization.
- Experience in sensitivity analyses, scenario development and decision support for policymakers. - Tariff/design & modelling, design of incentive schemes, generation planning and financial forecasting. - Cross-sectoral/global dialogue and consultation on strategic contours related to power sector; assistance in development of strategic plans. - Certifications and hands-on experience with relevant simulation tools preferred. |
Maximum 45 years (no age relaxation) | Market-based, competitive package commensurate with skills and experience. First 3 months on probation. |
| IT Specialist (Planning) — 1 position | Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer, Mechatronics, Electronics, Energy Engineering or Engineering Sciences from an HEC-recognized institute/university. |
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a reputable national or multinational organization.
- Prefer candidates with hands-on experience of relevant planning tools and system planning assessments. - Experience in long-term resource assessments, system planning support, scenario analysis and development of decision support tools preferred. - Certifications in relevant fields will be an advantage. |
Maximum 40 years (no age relaxation) | Market-based, competitive package commensurate with skills and experience. First 3 months on probation. |
