Issuer: Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO). Vacancy for Company Secretary to report to the Board of Directors and manage board governance, compliance and corporate secretariat functions at IESCO Head Office, Islamabad.

Position Qualification & Experience Responsibilities Salary / Tenure / Age Limit
Company Secretary
  • One of the following: member of a recognized body of professional accountants with minimum 3 years relevant experience as Company Secretary in a reputable company; OR member of a recognized body of corporate/chartered secretaries with minimum 3 years relevant experience as Company Secretary in a reputable company; OR a person holding a Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Commerce or Law from an HEC-recognized university with minimum 5 years relevant experience in a reputable company.
  • Report to the Board of Directors.
  • Maintain confidentiality of Board matters and implement Board decisions.
  • Ensure Board procedures, rules and regulations, corporate governance and statutory compliance are followed.
  • Prepare and maintain Board minutes, records and related documentation and provide secretariat support.
  • Market-based competitive salary package.
  • Initial contract for three years, extendable subject to performance. Performance review after six months; confirmation after one year.
  • Age limit: 60 years as on closing date.
